OneHealth Biorepository Core

Overview of Services

The MU OneHealth Biorepository (MU OHB) provides centralized services for collecting, processing and storing human biospecimens for research as well as histopathology services for customer-provided research samples. The OHB inventory includes specimens banked with informed consent from patients of MU Health Care. Please contact us with requests for fresh collections. Additionally, OHB can access archived specimens for research uses such as proof of technique, methodology or concept studies that do not require extensive information from the medical record. Histology services include embedding, sectioning, H&E and special stains, immunostaining and scanned images. Storage services and assistance with shipping and dry ice are available. OHB supports all members of the MU research community, serves as the tissue bank of the Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, and acts as the MU liason to the Washington University Siteman TPC Biorepository.
